British-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce

The British-Icelandic Chamber of Commerce was established in November 1997. Its offices are with the Iceland Chamber of Commerce in Reykjavik. The main objective of the chamber is to promote and maintain commercial links between Britain and Iceland. The chamber's main functions are to: organise meetings and conferences concerning commercial matters between the two countries. organise visits by parties within the business community of either State, to guard the commercial interests of its members in respect of British and Icelandic authorities, and to render direct services as decided by the Executive Committee, i.e. providing information about business contacts, assisting links between companies and distributing information relating to commerce in the two countries.
