How to Get to Sudureyri

From Isafjordur: 30 minutes drive through the tunnel on Route 65.

From Reykjavik: Fly to Isafjordur airport (40 minutes) then drive, or 6 hours by car via Route 1 and Route 61.

Scenic route: You can also reach Sudureyri via the old mountain road in summer for dramatic views (not recommended in winter).
